GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The tornado siren is activated by the Police Department whenever there is the credible and immediate threat of a tornado
    impacting the city.

  • Take cover immediately don't go outside, don't call the station. Prepare before hand for severe weather tune into your local radio /
    TV or city social media sites for updates.

  • Fingerprints for employment,  licensing or certification purposes are done on Fridays between 2:00-4:00 pm for a fee, by the
    Administrative division on the second floor of the police department. You may want to call 870-763-0404 to make an appointment.

  • Unfortunately not every police and citizen encounter will go as expected. Various issues can arise from police services which many
    times can be immediately resolved by requesting to speak to the on-duty supervisor. If however, the police services you received
